Upon successful completion of the course the student is expected to:
Get acquainted to the fundamental tools of economic analysis.
Apply these tools to the analysis of health policy issues such as the role of the government health programmes and the impact of competition and regulation on providers and patients.
Develop a better understanding of the role of economics in our sociopolitical environment as well as the role economics plays in decision-making processes.
Acquire a range of transferable skills including literature review, analysis of case studies, report writing, oral presentation, etc...
